B for BatmanBooyah
by John "BatmanBooyah" Culjak , 03/15/06

And now, John interviews John in our one part review....for V for Vendetta.

John: What up John.
John: What up fresh.
John: So you saw V for Vendetta, eh?
John: I sure did! And you?
John: Nope, haven't seen it yet.
John: It was good. In fact, really good! You should see it.
John: I should. What was your initial reaction coming out of the theatre?
John: My initial reaction was that I was bigger than all of those infront of me, and if someone started shit, I was going to start throwing my weight around.
John: What was your initial reaction about the MOVIE.
John: My reaction was that it was well done, don't remember the graphic novel, but it was good. I thought they could have portrayed V as more of a terrorist, but he was more of a freedom fighter.
John: If they made him a terrorist, the audience wouldn't have cared for the movie.
John: True. Then I would have thrown my weight around.
John: How were the action scenes?
John: There were three. And each was pretty minor. There wasn't 300 guards rushing V or shit like that; it was very subtle and brief. The movie more dealt with character developement, all around, which was great.
John: Did V fly out of a phone booth and into the sky?
John: I'm going to punch a baby.
John: Indeed. Indeed. Where did the movie fall short?
John: For all the developement of the characters, they should have included a little more to pace the movie better. Though the one thing i enjoyed...
John: was the garlic bread you had for dinner?
John: ABSOLUTELY! I also enjoyed how there weren't any recurring parts. A lot of times in movies like this, you have certain scenarios or locales, or moments that they keep going back to in the movie. It's as if they don't know how to fill up the time so they go back.
John: Like Mary Kate and Ashely Olsen in A New York Minute?
John: I have not seen that porno. But what they did was keep each moment fresh, each scene new from the previous, even if it dealt with previous events. Does that make sense?
John: I have a baby, where do you want to punch it?
John: Let me finish this sandwich before i proceed to punching.
John: Who was interviewing who at this point?
John: You were interviewing me. Would you like me to interview you?
John: I'm tired.

About the Author
Some would say John is a Croatian person living in California trying to make his way through comics... but... they would be wrong.... He is in fact a Norwegian summersault champion from Russia. He emigrated from Soviet Russia when he felt communism, the one true king, was about to fall. John aimed for Cuba, but landed on large breasted American girl and stayed there. He enjoys water skiing, kayaking, helping the unfortunate, lying, and snowboarding.
