UBIK MAREK
Ubik Marek is a 20 year old male, born and raised in North
Hollywood, California. "The reason that I dropped out of school at the
age of 16 was because: at the rate i was going, I thought I would have a
better chance of getting a diploma doing independent studies, on my
own. When I was in school, I just wanted to have fun with all my friends,
you know. I regret a lot of it these days, but I've found that teaching
myself a lot of the knowledge that I missed out on, today, is much
easier than trying to learn it from discriminative teachers back in the
day." Ubik while in High School, began to "mess" around with graphic
design. He would soon be designing, with a cousin of his, party flyers
for many of the "party crews" around in those days. "I can still
remember the feeling of that scene, If I could go back in time I would
probably go back to those days. The sounds of Flashbacks (80's music)
weigh heavier on my mind than any other phase I went through." Today, he
dwells constantly on the thought of having to feed his mind, as so he
puts it. He has, in the years, taught himself: graphic-design,
animation, web-design, sound-editing, video-editing, and is currently
learning JavaScript, VisualBasic, Flash and says he hopes to one day get
around to 3D rendering with Maya. Despite all of the knowledge regarding
computers that he has acquired, he says: "One of my favorite things to
do these days is sit down and write a sonnet, or a villanelle. I love
wordplay; writing is probably my favorite thing to do next to playing
guitar, acoustic or electric."

My Dream Girl...
It's all about personality, she could be the finest one
around, but if her personality is bitchy, you ain't gonna want to be
around her. I've come across some real cool, mellow cats in the past, i
should have never let them go...
Superhero or Super Villain
Well, superhero would not exist without a
super villain, cause if he did, he wouldn't be that "super" lol. I don't
know, maybe a half hero/half villain w/ multiple personalities and
fights him/herself all day.
Cool Car or Cool House
Cool house, cause if you can afford a cool
house, I'm sure you can afford a cool car.
Fame or Fortune
Fortune, because with fortune comes fame, but just fame
alone is not always a good thing.
Dream Girl or Dream Career
Dream Girl, because we all must make some
sacrifices in this life, Dream Girl should not be one of those.
